2023 Honda HR-V Trim Lineup
The all-new 2023 Honda HR-V fits into Honda’s vehicle lineup as its smallest SUV. It’s more compact than the CR-V, making it an excellent choice for shoppers who prioritize a vehicle that’s easy to handle on busy city roads.
Honda offers three HR-V trims to fit your budget and lifestyle. Come check them out at our Marion showroom: LX, Sport, and EX-L. All trims come standard with front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is available as an optional upgrade.
HR-V LX
The base LX trim is an attractive option for buyers shopping on a modest budget. It has an MSRP of $23,6501, cloth upholstery in the cabin, and smartphone compatibility with the infotainment system.
Its exterior features a matte finish to the grille and 17-inch alloy wheels.
HR-V Sport
Looking for some back-country excitement? The Sport trim contains a few unique styling elements that will appeal to those searching for an adventurous ride.
These features include 18-inch black alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and a single exhaust pipe.
Honda HR-V EX-L
If comfort and style are what you’re looking for, then the range-topping EX-L is for you. It offers several luxury features, including leather upholstery in the cabin, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a larger infotainment screen.
On the outside, it has a gloss black grille, black panels, and alloy wheels. Comfort and style wrapped into one beautiful ride.
1 MSRP excluding tax, license, registration, $1,245 destination charge and accessories. Dealer prices may vary. MSRP does not include $395 charge for premium colors.
2023 HR-V Exterior Design
Honda has revamped the HR-V’s exterior, giving it a sportier look. The new crossover introduces a longer hood with narrow headlights, a sloping rear window, a prominent grille, and LED lights at the front and rear. You can upgrade to 18-inch wheels to make your crossover even bolder.
Another addition to the exterior is Honda’s new independent rear suspension. This upgrade from the first-generation HR-V makes the crossover better when taking corners or tackling rough terrain.
2023 HR-V Interior
The modern interior design in this crossover resembles the redesigned Civic in many ways, which Honda released in an all-new model in 2022. The HR-V’s cargo area has been expanded, with a wider rear to make loading large or bulky items easier. You get a 60–40-split rear row, which allows you to choose between folding the second row completely flat for maximum storage space or using one rear seat for a third passenger. The HR-V has over 55 cubic feet of storage space when the rear row is folded flat.
Up front, the new HR-V has a two-tier console with a small storage area between the two front seats. The tactile buttons on the steering wheel, which allow you to adjust the climate control and other features easily, make being in the driver’s seat a whole new feeling. The infotainment screen sits prominently on the dash for a clear, unobstructed view.
The second row in the HR-V is ideal for passengers of any size. There’s plenty of legroom and two sets of LATCH connectors on the outermost rear seats so you can install chairs for the kids. You can also tailor your cabin to suit your personal needs with optional leather upholstery and USB ports.
Honda HR-V Engine and Performance
Under the hood of the all-new HR-V, you’ll find a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 158 horsepower2. The same engine powers Honda’s popular Civic sedan. The HR-V’s power train is completed by a continuously variable transmission.
The HR-V’s gas mileage numbers are impressive, making it a fine choice if you have a substantial daily commute. The front-wheel-drive setup achieves 26 mpg on city roads and 32 mpg3 on the highway. If you’d rather opt for all-wheel drive, the fuel economy figures drop by 1 mpg, respectively.
2 158 hp @ 6500 rpm (SAE net).
3 26 city/32 highway/28 combined mpg rating for 2WD trims. 25 city/30 highway/27 combined mpg rating for AWD trims. Based on 2023 EPA mileage ratings. Use for comparison purposes only. Your mileage will vary depending on how you drive and maintain your vehicle, driving conditions and other factors.
2023 HR-V Tech Features
Honda’s redesigned HR-V includes a 7-inch infotainment screen and a stereo to keep you and your passengers entertained on long or short drives. Standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it simple to link your phone to the HR-V’s entertainment system, allowing you to use your favorite apps or listen to music while you’re running errands or road tripping.
As you move up the trim lineup, a larger infotainment screen is an option. You can also access wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as some other beneficial extras, such as satellite radio and HD Radio. Another impressive upgrade is a wireless device charging mat to keep your phone or other devices fully charged wherever you are.
2023 Honda HR-V Safety
Honda vehicles possess one of the best all-around safety tech platforms with the Honda Sensing technology suite. This platform includes tools like adaptive cruise control, forward emergency braking, and lane-keep assist. Adaptive cruise control can automatically adjust your speed on the highway so you can maintain a safe distance from drivers up ahead.
Other safety features include blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. If you’d like some additional assistance while parking, consider adding parking sensors to your crossover.
We hope our guide to the all-new Honda HR-V has helped you decide that this is the perfect crossover to meet your needs and desires.
