The HondaTrue Used is the first tier of the HondaTrue Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Program. Participating vehicles must pass a background and quality check. A certified Honda technician performs these inspections and determines if the vehicle requires any maintenance or repairs. While they complete the inspections, the technicians complete a downloadable checklist that provides all the information regarding the 112-point inspection.
As long as the vehicle passes the inspection, the HondaTrue Used tier covers any Honda vehicle that’s up to 10 years old. There are no mileage limits for this tier, so the vehicle may have upwards of 100,000 miles or only a couple of thousand if it previously belonged to an elderly owner who didn’t drive very frequently. The coverage includes up to 100 days or 5,000 miles for both powertrain and non-powertrain components.

[16] The Honda Certified Limited Warranty is part of a complete package that is only available with the sale of an inspected and reconditioned, certified pre-owned vehicle. All costs associated with such inspection, reconditioning, and certification are not subject to separate charge or fee; instead, all such costs are included in the advertised and actual purchase price of the Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle.
